Manu, actually Emmanuel Moire, was born on 16th June 1979 in La Mans. Since childhood he has been keen on music which has accompanied him in every single moment of his life. As a child he was taught music (by whom?). He grew up with his twin brother, Nicolas. Taking into consideration both brothers, it was Emmanuel who was rather shy and abstemious. Emmanuel was very serious about working and gaining appropriate education and because of that he graduated with honours. It’s adorable that in France you have to take your exams in all subjects – even in physical education. Moreover, it’s praiseworthy that he had to combine school with music. 21th year of his life brought a breakthrough. Namely, he was chosen to participate in 16th musical workshops ran by Francis Cabriel., where he received schooling as composer and author of lyrics Emanuel learnt the piano skills as well and he uses them in his songs to this very day with an enormous artifice.

In 2004 the wider community came to know him, playing the role of Lous XIV in the French musical “Le Roi Soleil” (“The Sun King”). The spectacle was prepared by Dove Attia and Albert Cohen, while Kamel Quali took care of the choreography.Singles from the performancesoon topped the charts. Since the first staging of the play in April 2005, both the music compositions and the TV spots found a great support. From 22th September he performed every night on the stage of Palais des Sports in Paris in order to start a concert route around France with the whole troupe. After the first, extremely successful, year, the group returned to Palais des Sports to resume the performances. A brand new fact was that the actors and dancers were accompanied by live musicans. The play “Le Roi Soleil” was presented 211 times! The musician attained a raising popularity and fame, to make his own, debutant album “ La Ou Je Pars” and his tireless efforts were praised by NRJ with a nomination to their award.
